About

I am Jamie Henkensiefken, a designer and builder (and musician) passionate about creating spaces and functional pieces for everyday living. I was raised in Montana and Wyoming and my work is driven by the spirit of those places: honesty, simplicity, and making the most of materials that are on hand.   

I am from a family of woodworkers, architects, designers, and builders. The name of my studio, Hank Workshop, is a tribute to my dad who taught me the craft from a young age. While in the Navy, my dad was given the nickname “Hank” as a much shorter alternative to our long last name.
